Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson has only spent a little over a year enrolled in the Mamba Academy of Higher-Level NBA Basketball. But he’s already picked up some nifty tips and tricks.
On Tuesday, the 23-year-old did a picturesque impression of teammate Kobe Bryant’s footwork in the post leading directly into his trademark triple-pump fake fadeaway from the baseline.

It’s clear that Clarkson, who averaged 11.9 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 3.5 assists per game last year en route to NBA All-Rookie First Team honors, is assimilating fairly well into the Laker culture.
Famed NBA impersonator Brandon Armstrong is probably starting to sweat a bit as he may now have a serious threat to his throne as the preeminent Black Mamba dead ringer. Although, Clarkson did wind up making the shot, so he loses some points for accuracy in his impression of No. 24.
You still got a lot to learn, youngblood.
