Get your dog treats and chew toys ready, Steelers fans, because it’s about to become Mike Vick time in Pittsburgh.
Starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was carted off the field during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Rams with a knee injury (here’s video of the play). ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports he is expected to miss at least four weeks because of injury. The team will await the results of an MRI he is scheduled to undergo on Monday.
The team is hoping that the quarterback’s ACL is intact.
Roethlisberger was seen leaving the Edward Jones Dome on crutches after his Steelers held on for the 12-6 win:

Roethlisberger went 20-of-24 for 192 yards and an interception before exiting the game. Vick finished 5-of-6 for 38 yards. At 35, it looks like Vick will once again get a chance to run a team.
