Expert NFL picks Week 3 against the spread – Doc’s locks

Look, Doc Brown’s Week 2 picks were nothing short of a disaster. That’s sort of how things go. You have a solid Week 1, think you know things, and then the Jets go out and be good and stuff and the Bucs pull off a road win and you’re forced to question everything you know about football.

Rest assured, Doc Brown has not hit panic mode and is back on track in Week 3. He’s going with his gut, picking some upsets, but mostly sticking with favorites. The Falcons are for real; the Rams are Jekyll and Hyde (but the good team shows up Sunday); the Vikings are going to get a big home win; the Eagles are going to take some pressure off Chip Kelly and cool the hype surrounding the Jets; Buffalo’s going to put Miami in check; and the Ravens are going to get in the win column.

NFL Picks Week 3

There was one game that stood out, and it would have felt that way for Doc even if Drew Brees were playing. That’s Carolina and New Orleans. The Panthers are playing solid ball. They’re not putting up tons of points so this will be close, but they’re going to keep finding ways to win.
