Bateman made his first career start on Saturday, and he was absolutely destroyed by Ole Miss. After throwing an interception in the second quarter, Ole Miss’ Denzel Nkemdiche crushed him with a block.
Gosh, aren’t there rules against hitting quarterbacks so hard? Maybe just in the NFL. That outta teach him twice about throwing picks next time.
