Jim Harbaugh is using a Seahawks play card and Seattle loves it

Michigan Seahawks logo card

Jim Harbaugh just can’t quit the NFC West.

Harbaugh made his head coaching debut at Michigan on Thursday at Utah and gave a special nod to one of his old division rivals. On one of the Wolverines’ play cards was a Seahawks logo.

The Seahawks saw the image and sent a great tweet saying they missed the former 49ers coach:

Harbaugh’s Niners battled the Seahawks multiple times over the past four years, with Seattle holding a 5-4 edge (they also met once in the playoffs). Prior to squaring off in the NFL, Harbaugh took on Pete Carroll in college when the former was at Stanford and the latter was dominating at USC. There was a lot of tension between the two back then, but they may have buried the hatchet now. Perhaps Carroll can return the favor during the Seahawks’ opener at the Rams on Sept. 13.
