Eli Manning and the New York Giants are finalizing a contract extension that could keep the quarterback with the G-Men for another four years.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport has the details on the deal:
Sources: #Giants & QB Eli Manning are finalizing a 4-year, $84M extension that could be signed tomorrow. Just a few details to hammer out.

The contract would pay Manning $21 million per season, which is very good money. It also would match what his draft-class mate Philip Rivers received from the Chargers, though Rivers received $65 million guaranteed.
If Manning does sign this kind of deal, it would be for less than his reported goal of being the top paid player in the game, but he certainly could not be dissatisfied with it.
