Last week we told you that the New England Patriots planned to raise a Tom Brady banner before its season opener if the quarterback’s suspension was upheld by the legal system. Luckily the suspension was overturned, allowing Brady to play in Week 1.
But much like those 19-0 Super Bowl XLII champion shirts that got shipped off to Nicaragua and all that 2013 AFC Champions gear, the Brady banner is now the casualty of current events, though it very much is in existence. NFL Network’s Melissa Stark even shared a photo on Twitter Thursday of what the banner looked like:

The Pats would please their fanbase if they raised the banner at some point in the future anyhow.
