Rob Gronkowski to introduce own line of hot sauce

Rob-Gronkowski-dancing

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is one of the spiciest characters in professional football, and now he’s taking that aura to a literal level.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported on Friday that the convivial Gronkowski will lend his name and image to a hot sauce brand that will be dubbed “Gronk’s Hot Sauce.” The 26-year-old’s condiment venture will be sponsored by PLB Sports, a company which also launched a cereal line for Gronkowski a few years back called “Gronk Flakes.”

The sauce will reportedly sell in the $3 to $4 range and will be available for purchase in New England area supermarkets as well as online. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation, Gronkowski’s charity.

The Super Bowl champ continues to fly high and it’s especially so this week with Gronkowski publicly expressing his glee over teammate Tom Brady’s suspension being overturned. Now he can add “hot sauce connoisseur” to his long list of exploits.

Good for Gronk. It’s never a true “Yo soy fiesta” without the hot sauce.
