Michael Brewer was beat up by Ohio State on Monday night and suffered a broken collarbone from one of the hits. One thing he learned is that he better be careful about what he asks for.
The Virginia Tech was absolutely clobbered on a huge hit from two Buckeyes who sandwiched him right before halftime:

After that hit, Brewer told his teammates it would “take a hell of a lot more than that” to knock him out of the game.

And guess what happened a few plays after ESPN showed that video? Brewer was nailed again and driven into the turf where he suffered the injury.
Brewer is expected to be out 4-5 weeks.
Michael Brewer told @heatherespn his collarbone is broken. Surgery tomorrow and 4-5 week recovery. Hope he's back soon for Hokies. #VTvsOSU

That’s unfortunate for Brewer, as he had thrown for two touchdowns against Ohio State and looked pretty good.
