USC coach Steve Sarkisian has apologized for acting like a drunken fool at a team event on Saturday night, but there is a growing concern that his behavior that night was not an isolated incident.
TMZ reports that USC officials have been getting complaints from boosters who want Sarkisian to be fired.
“I’ve been getting a flurry of phone calls this morning from people who want him out,” one high-ranking USC source told TMZ. “They feel he’s an embarrassment to the program and the community.”
As an example of Sarkisian’s propensity for a good time, look no further than this 2012 bar tab that included 40-plus shots of tequila and a request for reimbursement from the Washington Huskies athletic department.
This 2012 reimbursement request from @CoachSark isn't ridiculous if you believe 16 people were at the bar with him: http://pic.twitter.com/ywhJcZgSke

If you have seen the video of Sarkisian needing to be pulled off stage at USC’s Salute to Troy event, you can understand why there is a great deal of concern. People make mistakes, but Sarkisian can’t afford to make another like that. It could cost him his job.
