The latest edition of the Madden video game series was released earlier this week, and “Madden NFL 16” could be even more realistic than all of its predecessors.
Anyone who has played the new game with Robert Griffin III can tell you why.
As Scott Allen of DC Sports Bog noted, it would appear that RG3 is incredibly injury prone in “Madden NFL 16.” Folks who have played the game using the Washington Redskins quarterback have noticed that he has a very difficult time staying on the field.
Through 5 games of my Redskins franchise in Madden, RG3 had to leave for injury in 4 of them. #itsinthegame

I’m in week 6 on my franchise in the new Madden and RG3 has gotten hurt 4 times

Shocker RG3 gets injured in the first half of my first game of madden

The new Madden game is so realistic that after 3 games Robert Griffin is already hurt and out for 7 weeks.

I just played 1 quarter of the new madden in GameStop and RG3 got hurt. Cousins led me down the field. #RealisticAF

Griffin’s injury rating on the game is a 77, which if fifth-worst among quarterbacks behind Sam Bradford, Carson Palmer, Josh McCown and Christian Ponder. And even when RG3 is healthy, he apparently has a lot of trouble making simple throws.
Played with the Redskins in Madden this weekend and RG3 was throwing balls into the concession stand.

Bro don't pass with rg3 on madden he misses every pass, I can't believe this bull

RG3 can't throw a corner in madden to save his life smh

Griffin has suffered multiple major knee injuries and numerous concussions since college. When you look at the beating he took in last week’s preseason game, you can understand why he has a tendency to get banged up. The fact that Madden has accounted for that might be cruel, but it sure is entertaining.
